State Releases Casino Revenue Figures For October

Total revenue at Ohio's four casinos rose slightly from September to October, but is down nearly 9 percent compared with a year ago. The Ohio Casino Control Commission says facilities in Columbus, Cleveland and Toledo saw slight revenue increases last month, while Cincinnati revenue fell by 23 percent.  The voter-approved casinos have collected a total of 64 million dollars in October and 676 million so far this year. The state collects a third of those revenues in taxes and distributes the money to counties, school districts, host cities and other entities.
