Officials at Washington Court House High School have banned students from bringing backpacks and cell phones into the building after a string of threats were made on an anonymous social media app. Superintendent Matt McCorkle banned cell phones last week following posts viewed as bullying. Later posts included a bomb threat, prompting him to ban backpacks and have a police presence at school on Monday.
