A local architect will design a memorial to the late President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela. Columbus-based architect Brian Sell won the Mandela Foundation's design contest, beating out 200 other entries. The granite and bronze monument will resemble a tree, with a water feature and some of Mandela's most memorable quotes. It'll be on display in northern California.
