Columbus Police Shoot Armed Man

Columbus police officers shot and wounded an armed man last night on the Southwest side. Police officials say officers searching for the suspect in a hit-skip accident were forced to open fire when the man refused to drop his weapon last night at the Newbridge Commons Apartment Complex on Clare Drive. The man is hospitalized in critical condition. No other information has been released.
