State Records First West Nile Death Of 2015

The Ohio Department of Health says a 91-year-old Williams County man is the season's first fatality from West Nile virus. There have been eight reported human cases of the mosquito-borne disease in Ohio this year. Ohio had 11 West Nile virus cases in 2014.
