Newark police say a sixth-grader is in custody in connection with a racially-charged email bomb threat targeting Newton Elementary school yesterday. Classes are being held as scheduled today. The threat was discovered by a staff member on the in-house computer. Police say the boy has no connection to two letters last week threatening violence at Utica High School homecoming activities over interracial dating.
