Police ID Body Found In Pond At North Side Apartment Complex

Autopsy results are pending on the body of a man found in northwest Columbus.  Police say the remains found yesterday at an apartment complex are those of 35-year-old Michael Schmunk, who had been missing since late October.  Schmunk's body was found in a retention pond at the end of a cul-de-sac off Farrel Drive at The Residences at Sawmill Crossing.  Investigators believe Schumnk drove his motorcycle into the pond, and the death does not appear to be suspicious.
