A suspect in a fatal Columbus home invasion is scheduled to face a judge today. Police arrested 20-year-old Jawaun Pitts on Saturday, nearly three weeks after his accomplice, 21-year-old Brandon Pollard, was shot and killed at a home on Howey Road. State law allows defendants to be charged if an accomplice dies while committing a crime.
