Man Convicted Of Killing Local Homeless Man Sentenced To Life In Prison

A Columbus man will serve life in prison for killing a man over a minor debt. 21-year-old Brandon Knowles was convicted of shooting and killing 61-year-old Walter Fly as the victim sat in his car at the intersection of East Columbus and Wager Streets last May. Police say the motive was a 23 dollar debt over pills. Police say Fly was homeless and living in the vehicle with his wife.
