The governor has named a new chair of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. Asim Haquetakes over for Andre Porter, pending Ohio Senate confirmation. The Columbus resident is the current vice chair of the commission.. Porter's resignation last month marked the fourth departure from the commission's helm since Governor John Kasich was elected in 2010. Porter is leaving for the private sector.
