Ex-Shawnee Hills Police Chief Enters Alford Plea To Theft In Office Charge

Sentencing is scheduled September 2nd for former Shawnee Hills police chief Sean LeFever. A judge set the date this week after LeFever entered an Alford plea to one count of theft in office as part of a plea bargain. LeFever resigned from the department north of Dublin last January after a grand jury indicted him for allegedly receiving improper compensation for false work-time reporting.
