Shots From High-Powered Weapon Fired At Columbus Police Officers

Columbus police officials say officers were fired upon as they responded to a report of shots fired at a northeast side apartment complex early this morning. No injuries are reported. Police say one or more people opened fire on the responding officers with a "high caliber firearm" at the complex on Windsor Avenue. Two apartments and multiple vehicles were struck by gunfire. No arrests have been made.
