The Columbus man accused of firing a paintball gun at a 72-year-old bicyclist, blinding the victim in one eye, has been sentenced to four years in prison. 22-year-old Thomas Woodruff pleaded guilty to a felonious assault charge.72-year-old Morris McCarty was shot in May 2015 near Whittier Street and South Champion Avenue by someone in a passing vehicle.
