Standoff Suspect Found Dead In Burning Home

Columbus police are investigating the death of a woman who held officers at bay last night on the east side. Police say an apparent burglar set fires inside a house at Taylor Avenue and Atcheson Street. Officers were unable to make an arrest before the home became engulfed in flames. No other information has been released.
