Columbus Man Sentenced For Killing Concert Promoter

Franklin County Sheriff's Office

The Columbus man convicted for his role in the robbery and slaying of a Florida concert promoter has been sentenced to life in prison. 33-year-old Clemon Parham was convicted in the August, 2011 beating death of 50-year-old Kevin Connal. A jury found him not guilty in the December 2012 death of 35-year-old Jermaine Hill, a Georgia drug dealer. Prosecutors say Parham planned the slaying because the victims owed more than 100-thousand dollars. Two other people have been charged in the slayings.
