SUPCO Upholds Conviction, Sentence For Serial Killer

wikipedia

The Ohio Supreme Court has upheld the conviction and death sentence of a convicted serial killer. Anthony Sowell was convicted of killing 11 women and hiding the remains in and around his Cleveland-area home. The court rejected his arguments that his original attorneys wasted time challenging evidence and should have focused on sparing him from a death sentence. The court also refused to order a new hearing on the admissibility of Sowell's 11-plus-hour videotaped interrogation. Sowell may still file federal appeals.
