Franklin County Sheriff's deputies say an off-duty Columbus police officer shot and wounded a home-invasion suspect on Tuesday. Deputies say the unnamed officer shot 36-year-old Jason Boswell after Boswell broke into the officer's Gay Road home. Boswell is hospitalized in stable condition. He will be arraigned today on an aggravated robbery charge.
