Columbus police have identified the off-duty officer who shot an intruder Tuesday at his Gay Road home. 45-year-old Sergeant Stephen Carr shot and wounded 36-year-old Jason Boswell after Boswell broke into the home. Boswell is hospitalized in stable condition. State and Franklin County authorities are investigating.
