A Columbus man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for making bombs inside of his South Hampton Road home, which exploded. The operation by 22-year-old Roberto Innis Junior was uncovered in April of last year. Explosive materials and a note filled with racial epithets and hate symbols were found. The note indicated explosives were placed in a school. Prosecutors say the plot was intended to distract police so Innis and Alfonso Mobley Junior could rob a bank or an armored car. Mobley is due in court on May 8. Both say they're members of the Sovereign Citizens group that a 2010 FBI report labeled as anti-government extremists who believe they are separate from the United States.
