A Butler County grand jury has indicted Republican State Representative Wes Retherford on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. Grand jurors declined to indict on other charges. Police initially charged him with improper handling of a firearm in a vehicle following his March 12 arrest at a restaurant parking lot, where he was found passed out in a car with a loaded handgun. Retherford has yet to comment.
