Athens Serial Rape Suspect Arrested

An Athens County serial rape suspect is scheduled to face a judge today. Shawn Lawson Junior was arrested yesterday on a host of charges including rape, kidnapping and felonious assault. Lawson is accused of attacking three women who were walking alone in uptown Athens between 2006 and 2015.
