NASA Glenn Experiments Headed To International Space Station Today

nasa.gov

Two experiments from the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland leave today for the International Space Station. A SpaceX rocket will launch from Florida on a supply mission that includes delivery of the experiments. One is meant to improve fire safety, especially in space, and to make earthbound combustion cleaner and more efficient. The other involves a new laser, scanner and high-definition digital camera that will provide three-dimensional views in the station's light microscopy module. Scientists are using data to develop soap, cosmetics, cancer-fighting implants and more.
