Restored Memphis Belle To Go On Public Display In May

National Public Radio

The legendary Memphis Belle now has a permanent home inside the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force near Dayton.

The B-17 bomber was moved Wednesday into the museum's World War II gallery after a 13-year restoration project.  A tarp will cover the craft until it's officially unveiled to the public in May.
