A Columbus police officer is hospitalized in stable condition after being injured in a wrong-way crash last night at Bethel and Dierker roads.
Police say the officer was on the scene of a wreck when the wrong-way driver crashed into his cruiser because of a medical emergency. The driver is hospitalized in stable condition. The names of the officer and the driver have yet to be released.
