Whitehall City Council this week approved the city's purchase of the Woodcliff Condominium complex, a blighted 37 acre site that has been the subject of a fight for more than a decade.
The city will purchase the site for 8.8 million dollars. Condo owners have until the end of the month to object to the proposed distribution of the proceeds. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for June.
