A Columbus police spokesperson has been relieved of duty amid a criminal investigation.
Police officials say Sergeant Dean Worthington was relieved on July 17 and will be assigned to desk duty upon his return. The nature of the probe by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office has yet to be disclosed.
