Small Plane Crashes At Knox County Airport

The Ohio Highway Patrol says the pilot of a small plane walked away unharmed when the craft crashed at the Knox County Airport near Mount Vernon on Saturday morning. 

Troopers say the pilot of a Cessna 172 was coming in for a landing when he reported smoke in the cockpit. Troopers have not released the pilot's name. The cause of crash remains under investigation.
