Delaware County Levy Would Fund Disabled Services

Delaware County Commissioners have voted to place a 0.4 mill property tax increase on the November ballot to fund services for the disabled, mostly children.

The continuous levy would raise 3.1 million dollars a year and cost the owner of a 100 thousand dollar home 14 dollars annually. Two property tax levies already in place to fund the services will not be renewed.
