Marion police have identified the two victims of what investigators are calling a murder-suicide early Friday at a home on Easy Street.
The suspect, found dead at the scene, has been identified as 39-year-old Destin Walters. The victim, who died at a local hospital, has been identified as 34-year-old Kelsey Rinehart. Authorities found a knife at the scene, which they believe was used in the incident. The Lucas County Coroner's office will conduct the autopsies. Police say the two were in a romantic relationship, and Walters had a criminal record, including a history of domestic violence against other women. An investigation continues.
