Madeira fire officials say say a small plane crashed into a house last evening, killing the pilot.

No one was in the home at the time the twin-engine Piper PA-31 Navajo crashed. Madeira fire chief Steve Ashbrock says pilot David Sapp was  headed to Lunken Airport after a geomapping assignment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
