Ohio Native Dies After Climbing Mt. Everest

An Ohio native died on Mount Everest as part of his challenge to climb the highest mountains on all seven continents. 

55-year-old Don Cash, a Utah resident, was a native of Geauga County. A cause of death has not been officially determined but the family believes he a heart attack. Cash died Wednesday while descending from the summit. Dave Roskelley was Cash's friend and fellow climber.

Three people have died while climbing Everest this spring.
