The Franklin County Coroner has ruled the death of a local community activist a suicide.
The body of 28-year-old Amber Evans was recovered from the Scioto River in March. She was reported missing in January after a dispute with her boyfriend. The autopsy shows the activist with the People's Justice Project drowned after taking cold medications.
