EMA: Technical Problem Kept Doors Of Local Shelter Locked During Weather Emergency

Delaware County Emergency Management Agency officials blame a technical problem for keeping the doors of a tornado shelter at Delaware State Park locked on Sunday.

An estimated 100 people were attempting to gain access during a line of severe storms. Agency director Sean Miller says the electronic signal sent to unlock the shelter failed to activate. Miller says the problem has been fixed.
