Nurses at Toledo's Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center will continue to work under their old contract after rejecting a new agreement.
Nearly 60 percent rejected the tentative pact, sending the union and Mercy Health back to the bargaining table. Their 38-day strike ended last week. Union officials recommended ratification, touting improvements in on-call hours and healthcare benefits.
