OSU Probe Finds Professor Steered Contract To Her Private Business

Ohio State University

Ohio State University's board of trustees is scheduled to vote today on whether to fire a marketing and logistics  professor who has worked for the school for 17 years.

An investigation that began in 2017 found Deborah Mitchell steered a 1.6 million contract with the Ohio Department of Medicaid to her private company, Cypress Tree Corporation. Mitchell says the school is lying and  has the backing of three colleagues.
