Nursery Now Open At Ohio Women's Prison

The state's first and only prison nursery is now open at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville.

The facility features a fully-equipped dorm.  The nursery was created so women convicted of non-violent crimes could bond with their newborns.  To use the program, prisoners must participate in a treatment plan and a long-term social-services course to help transition back to civilian life.
