As Impeachment Hearings Begin, Portman Says He's Keeping An Open Mind

Majority Democrats in the U.S. House begin public impeachment inquiry hearings regarding President Trump today. 

Members  of the Republican-controlled U.S. Senate are waiting to see what new information comes out. That includes Ohio's Rob Portman, who spoke with reporters on a conference call ahead of the hearings:

Portman says he will be watching the hearings and reading transcripts with an open mind. He says the Senate should also listen before taking a vote.
