Report: Less Than 40 Percent Of Local Businesses Plan To Hire In First Quarter

A new survey shows 37 percent of central Ohio businesses expect to hire workers in the first quarter of next year. 

The quarterly Manpower employment survey shows 4 percent of companies plan to cut jobs and 58 percent plan to maintain current staffing levels. Hiring is expected to be strong across most sectors except manufacturing.
