Franklin County Public Health has issued a mandatory mask order should the county drop below the state's Level 3 public health emergency.
The state's order for the county remains in effect, and several cities in the county have issued similar orders. The county's order does not apply to children under the age of 10, or people with a medical condition. Violators could be prosecuted, but county officials say warnings will be issued initally.
