Ohio State University continues its week-long recognition of the 100th anniversary of Woody Hayes' birth. An 8-foot-tall bronze statue of the legendary football coach goes up today outside the athletic center that bears his name. Former players are also sharing their memories of Hayes. Hayes coached at Ohio State for 28 seasons. He died in 1987. The week of tributes concludes Friday night with a special dinner featuring former players and his son Steven. The university has created a special website documenting his life and coaching.
