A report by the National Wildlife Federation shows global climate change makes it harder for many animals to raise their young and keep them well fed and healthy. Ohio chapter spokesperson Tracy Sabetta.
Sabetta says climate change is also shifting the Ohio habitat of the monarch butterfly, threatening Ohio's white-tailed deer population through an increase in disease-spreading ticks, and impacting Lake Erie walleye through decreased water levels. The group is pushing for cleaner forms of energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
