Flu Hospitalizations Declined Last Week

The Ohio Department of Health reports a decrease in the number of flu-related hospitalizations. 692 people were hospitalized in the week from January 11 to January 17. More than 16 hundred people were hospitalized during the previous week. The season's total hospitalizations is now nearly 68 hundred. The Centers for Disease Control  has said this season's vaccine may not protect as well against the strain dominating the state.
