The Ohio Department of Health says four people have died from the flu this season as hospitalizations continue to rise. Nearly 16 hundred people were hospitalized for the flu from December 28 through January 4, up 55 percent from the previous week. More than 44 hundred people have been hospitalized so far this season. Columbus Public Health officials say nearly 500 people have been hospitalized in Franklin County, more than during all of last season.
