Two Law Enforcement Officers Fired For Offensive Social Media Posts

City of Reynoldsburg

A Reynoldsburg police officer has been fired for making racist posts on Facebook.  City officials say Katherine Mielke was fired after residents complained about offensive images and jokes related to African-Americans and Asian-Americans. Mielke had been known for her work in the city's schools.  Meanwhile, a Clark County sheriff's deputy has been fired for his racially-offensive posts on Twitter.  Authorities say Zachary Davis was fired after a resident sent an email with copies of tweets that reference the racial unrest and riots in Baltimore.  Davis was sworn in last month.
