The Columbus man charged in a drive-by shooting that led to the death of his 8-year-old nephew was sentenced Monday to eight years in prison. Prosecutors say 24-year-old Robert Broom fired at two men outside a home while riding in a vehicle with two other adults and two children in April 2014. His nephew, Jamarion Cox, was wounded when one man returned fire at the vehicle.
