The U.S. Army soldier from Ohio convicted this week of killing a comrade in Jordan in 2014 has been sentenced to 26 years of confinement and will be dishonorably discharged. 24-year-old Specialist Jeffery Page of Perrysburg killed 19-year-old Specialist Adrian Perkins while Perkins was carrying lunch to Page and another soldier at a guard post. Prosecutors say Page disliked Perkins. Defense attorneys say Page was tired and bored when he aimed what he thought was an unloaded rifle at Perkins.
