A U.S. soldier from Perrysburg has been convicted of murder in the shooting death of a comrade in Jordan.
Prosecutors say U.S. Army Specialist Jeffery Page killed 19-year-old Specialist Adrian Perkins in 2014 while he was carrying lunch to Page and another soldier at a guard post. Prosecutors say Page disliked Perkins because of his lack of military demeanor. The defense argued Page was tired and bored when he aimed what he thought was an unloaded rifle at Perkins.
