Woman Killed At Local Bus Stop Identified

Associated Press

Columbus police have identified the woman killed Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash that sent a car flying into a bus shelter where she was sitting. 54-year-old Joan Miller was killed at a COTA stop on East Broad Street near James Road. Police say a sport-utility vehicle and another car attempted to pull over to make way for a fire truck. The collision hurtled the car over the curb and into the bus stop where it collapsed on Miller. Neither driver was injured. No charges have been filed.
