Court Re-sentences Man Convicted Of Helping Dump Woman's Body

A Columbus man has been re-sentenced to three years probation and 500 hours of community service after an appeals court overturned the original sentence. A judge had sentenced 23-year-old Nicholas McCord in February to 10 months in prison for helping his roommate dump the body of 23-year-old Jordyn Hollingsworth. The Franklin County Court of Appeals ruled the trial judge could not legally order jail time for charges of abuse of a corpse.
