Court Overturns Prison Sentence For Man Who Helped Dump Woman's Body

Franklin County Sheriff's Office

The Franklin County Court of Appeals has overturned a 10-month prison sentence for a Grove City man who pleaded guilty to charges of disposing of the body of a woman who died from a heroin overdose. The court says 23-year-old Nicholas McCord should have been sentenced to probation in the July 2014 death of 21-year-old Jordyn Hollingsworth. 25-year-old Corey Roberts was sentenced last year to nearly three years in prison for abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
